GUESS WHO'S BACK?!

Envy RWY, currently are taking bookings for Steve, to make his return a busy one. He will be working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Book now to secure your appointment 01752 251351.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

International Women’s Day.

A celebration of women who continue to contribute towards social, economic, cultural and political achievement.

The Duke of Cornwall hotel in partnership with Shekinah Mission, The Eddystone Trust and Trevi House, held an afternoon of cream tea and invited female business leaders to chat  informally to women who are supported by the charities. In the hope to gain an understanding to the challenges faced by vulnerable women in the city but also to inspire the women and help sow seeds around them gaining confidence to move forward in their lives. Tracie Gunningham attended - “I think talking informally over a cup of tea and a scone helps find mutual ground in regards to children, family life, and some difficult things that they may have encountered. It was definitely an eye opener for all parties involved”.

“The support from the charities involved is fantastic to see. I was glad I could be of assistance, I wish everyone good luck for the future”

Envy supplied goodie bags containing KMS hair products and other treats for each attendee.

ENVY TO SPONSOR HUGS FROM HENRY THROUGHOUT 2016.

Envy are proud to announce, their chosen charity for 2016 will be Plymouth based ‘Hugs From Henry’.

Requested specifically by the staff of the 3 Envy salons, all fundraising will go towards raising awareness and support for children suffering a rare childhood cancer.

Henry Hallam was only 3 years old when his family were told he had stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer.  Henry suffered months of gruelling treatments to help save his life, in various locations across the country.

The original charity ‘Hugs For Henry’ was set up to help raise money for treatment available outside the UK, which could be beneficial to Henry.

In 2013, Henry was given the news that his condition is stable. His parents decided to change the charity from ‘Hugs For Henry’ to ‘Hugs From Henry’ – The charity offers any kind of support emotionally and financially for families who find themselves in the same position as the Hallam family did in 2012.

Envy will be hosting a variety of different charity events throughout the year to raise money for their local charity.

More information on Hugs From Henry can be found on the website: http://hugsfromhenry.co.uk/

ENVY CREATES HAIR AND MAKE-UP FOR LOCAL CHARITY FASHION SHOW.

Two weeks ago Team Envy took part in creating a high-end and successful fashion show in correspondence with The Lady Taverners autumn lunch.

The annual lunch this year took place at Le Bistro Pierre located in Plymouth’s prestigious Royal William Yard.  The purpose of the event is to raise money for a charity that supports disabled and disadvantaged children.

Team Envy showed off their creative talents by creating catwalk worthy hair and make-up for 8 individual models.  The team consisted of Pao Panawam Ham, Tracie Gunningham, Sarah Chapman, Kerra Day, Georgina Nail and Lynda Penny.
