TRACIE GUNNINGHAM JUDGES REGIONAL HAIR COMPETITION

Skills Group Exeter

Tracie Gunningham accepted a place on the judging panel for the Skills Group hair show in exeter.

With plenty of talent on show, the decision making was tough, but the 30 years of hairdressing experience came in handy when it came down to the final cut.

Tracie Gunningham said ' I find it so refreshing to see how much effort and natural talent and flair there is in the hairdressing industry, some entrants only had 6 weeks experience and what they manage to create on stage in 30 minutes is truly incredible'.

ENVY WELCOMES ERMINGTON LADIES GROUP

Envy regularly hosts pamper evenings for ladies groups or corporate companies.

Last Thursday was the turn of the Ermington Ladies group.

A group of 16 ladies were hosted by Steve Dyer, Georgina Nail, Lauren Crossley, Ellie Temple and Kerra Day of the Envy team.

Envy's salon owner Tracie Gunningham couldn't be present at this event, so she enlisted the help of Sara Soper from Admin Angel to provide meet and greet services, gather information and to get the party started, Sara has helped Tracie organise many of these events before and Temple Spa Consultant, Jan Reckless, who Tracie thought would add another pleasing pamper experience to the evening.

Sara Soper from Admin Angel thought that "It was an absolute delight to meet the ladies from Ermington and to watch them relax, giggle and be pampered in a the salon"

Tersesa Drew emailed to say 'On behalf of the Ermington Ladies Group I wish to thank you and your team for such a wonderful evening.  The ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we were so warmly welcomed and looked after by your wonderful team.
Thank you so much for arranging the evening and there is nothing we would have changed.'

Tracie Gunningham said 'my presence was clearly not needed, the team did a marvellous job'!

Envy supports local Plymouth charities

February 20th 2015

Envy have been stepping up their game in the charity fundraising world this year.

During the chilly February month, Envy partnered up with Nuffield Health to support Plymouth’s  local charities- Jeremiahs Journey, Kibera in Need and Shekinah- to help raise money for each cause.

The talented Envy stylists visited Nuffield Health, carrying their bags of equipment ready hard to work and raise money all for chairty.

To raise some big cash, owner Tracie Gunningham devised a tempting strategy to gain the public interest- quality services at cheap prices.

The Envy team offered:

  • £10 cut & blow dry’s
  • £5 gents cuts
  • £10 shellac nails

At these prices, who could say no- especially after a hard workout at the gym!

In total with just one day of events, the Envy team alone raised an amazing £100 for each individual charity.

This is an amazing achievement for the team, who plan to take part in many more charity events throughout the year.
