CELEBRATING SUCCESS

Manic Monday

Location Holiday Inn Plymouth. Skills Group laid on a competition for young hairdressers to express their skills.

Starting with the Novice's group category "at the races". Lauren stepped up to the bar and produced a wonderful piece of hair art. With a pleated part of the back section, the junior stylist then took small sections of hair placed and sprayed to create a rose effect swirl. Hair accessory was made out of hair to create the look of a fascinator and placed and secured to complete the look.

But the celebrations didn't stop there. Also flying the Envy flag in the advanced group was Rhianne Cawse. With the category title of "Razor Sharp", the Plymstock based stylist used clippers to cut length 'razor sharp' cut wide blunt fringe and disconnected side pieces to create geometric insterest.

Tracie Gunningham was delighted with the result. She said ' it's always great to see what the standard is in the city, today it was high, the girls worked hard to prepare themselves and their models for the competition and their hard work and determination paid off'.  The Envy team love a competition and the apprentices are fully supported and encouraged by all senior members.

A Great Result.

ENVY ADD MICROBLADING TO SERVICE LIST

Envy are now offering Microblading .

Micro-blading gently enhances clients’ natural features, giving them more confidence in their overall appearance.

The phenomenal eyebrow treatment is ideal for people who: aren't happy with their brow shape, have over plucked or loss of hair / patchy areas that won’t grow back (potentially due to nuclear medical treatments such as chemotherapy).

However, it doesn’t suit certain skin types:

  • Problem skin broken Capillaries
  • Acne
  • Moles within the brow
  • Keratosis
  • Seborrhoea Dermatitis
  • Previous brow tattoo of pigment is still saturated
  • Very dry or peeling skin.

What happens in the Consultation?

A COMPULSORY patch test must be applied 24 hours before your microblading treatment.

An outline will be drawn by pencil, this way you get a feel for the shape and form.

We then conduct an in-depth photo analysis of your facial symmetry and features. This allows us to provide you with our expert advice on how to proceed forward with your selected style.

On the Treatment Day:

Your eyebrow area will be sterilised with hygienic pads and draw the brow form on to your skin. Again we take another picture so you can get a good picture of what's happening. The camera also shows up any defects in the design.

A Sterile disposable Micro-blading tool and blade (also disposable) are used during your procedure.

We only use EU regulated permanent makeup pigments for both quality and your safety. These are specially manufactured for Micro pigmentation.

How long does it last?

Microbladed eyebrows will last from 12 - 18 months depending on your skin type.

Does Microblading hurt?

Not at all. On a survey recently conduct in the UK, customers voted an average of 3 on a 1-10 pain scale.

Aftercare: Touch Ups

You will need to return for your touch up treatment no later than 6-12 weeks after treatment.

Everyone’s skin heals differently and most clients develop patchy areas or the appearance of fading after the first treatment.  It is important to understand that this is a two part process and the second, Touch Up Treatment will complete the procedure and, after healing, you will see the finished result.

Price:

£199 for initial treatment. 6 to 8 weeks later £50 for top up - £50 non refundable booking fee to secure appointment date (£50 taken off total price on appointment)
