Envy have once again taken part in a charity event this month.
Owner Tracie, a member of the Lady Taverner’s gathered the BWY Envy team to raise money for the charity.
The talented team of stylists were given the task of creating beautiful hairstyles for each member of the Lady Taverner’s in a local fashion show.
The fashion show turned out to be a great success raising a staggering £2,235.
Tracie and her Envy team were honoured to be a small part of it.

Envy have been stepping up their game in the charity fundraising world this year.
During the chilly February month, Envy partnered up with Nuffield Health to support Plymouth’s local charities- Jeremiahs Journey, Kibera in Need and Shekinah- to help raise money for each cause.
The talented Envy stylists visited Nuffield Health, carrying their bags of equipment ready hard to work and raise money all for chairty.
To raise some big cash, owner Tracie Gunningham devised a tempting strategy to gain the public interest- quality services at cheap prices.

At these prices, who could say no- especially after a hard workout at the gym!
In total with just one day of events, the Envy team alone raised an amazing £100 for each individual charity.
This is an amazing achievement for the team, who plan to take part in many more charity events throughout the year.
On December the 4th 2014 Envy teamed up with two other local businesses, Bluestone360 and HLM Architects and hired out @play nightclub for the Xmas Party.
The theme for the night was 1970's. 80's and 90's. Everyone made an outstanding effort with their costumes, some members of the team were unrecognisable!!
We hired two local bands, https://www.facebook.com/bananathieves and https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hungry-Bears/377913082263909 a local DJ @Warren Jones and @Emma Barrow photography was on hand during the early part of the evening (before things got messy) to capture the event.
A great night was had by all!! There were a fair few sore heads the next day.
Only 3 weeks after signing contracts Envy PSM opened it doors officially on December 1st 2014.
The salon was officially opened by Sarah Barrow, British Olympic Platform Diver. The salon held an open day during the day and had the official opening in the evening where local residents and staff could attend. It was a lovely informal evening, with plenty of excitement in the air. The evening was captured on camera by Sarah's sister Emma Barrow.
On the 24th February we welcomed Clare Wade into the Envy team.
She has brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hairdressing industry and has spent many years teaching this skill to others.
We feel privileged to have Clare working in our Broadway salon on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and look forward to working with her.

Over the last few months the team at Envy have worked with photographer Emma Barrow and nationally acclaimed make-up artist Rebecca Searle on two shoots for international online and print magazine Coco Indie and sister publication Coco bride.
Coco is a beautiful high fashion art book, which exhibits creative photographers, designers, artists, make-up artists, stylists and models from around the world.

This year the team at Envy BWY in Plymstock used their hairdressing talents to raise £200 for ShelterBox Philippines Disaster Relief.
At Broadway’s Christmas lights switch-on, the team tamed the locks of 20 customers in exchange for donations to the charity.

Booking is advisable, although walk-in appointments will also be available.
You will have your hair washed, dried and styled in our exclusive salon in just half an hour. However if you are blessed with a really thick or extra long head of hair we will add an extra charge of £10 per 15 minutes.
