THE ENVY YEAR IN REVIEW →

WHAT A YEAR IT'S BEEN!

Celebrating our people, our progress and our wonderful clients

NEW SALON CHAIRS 2026

What a year it's been at Envy!

As another year draws to a close, it's lovely to take a moment to reflect on everything we've achieved, the changes we've made and, most importantly, the support we've received from our amazing clients.

It's certainly been a year of investment, development, new faces and exciting opportunities. Here's a little look back at what's been happening behind the scenes at Envy!

Growing, learning & investing in our future

We've continued to invest in our salon, our services and our team's professional development.

This year we've:

  • Introduced new services, including beaded toppers, giving clients even more options when it comes to hair enhancement and hair replacement.

  • Continued to develop our specialist hair-loss services, helping both men and women find confidence through non-surgical hair replacement solutions.

  • Expanded our knowledge through further training, including allergy testing and skin-related education.

  • Welcomed new talent and continued investing in the next generation of hair professionals.

Tom has also been developing his skills in ultra-lightweight extensions offering, introducing new application techniques that we're really excited about.

New faces, new beginnings!

It's always lovely to welcome new people into the Envy family.

This year we said hello to Sam and Lynda, and we've also taken on a new apprentice, Ruby.

Taking on an apprentice is something we're particularly passionate about. We love being able to share our knowledge, develop new talent and help shape the future of our industry.

Ruby is a fantastic addition to the team, and we're looking forward to watching her grow and develop. She is always looking for models on a Tuesday between 10am -2pm.

A little investment goes a long way!

Behind every great salon is plenty of hard work and reinvestment.

Having finished paying off our COVID bounceback loan, we've been able to put that money back into Envy, allowing us to invest in new salon equipment and improvements, including a new backwash chairs, salon chairs and ‘soon’ a new shop front.

It's important to us that our salon continues to feel welcoming, comfortable and up to date, both for our clients and our team.

A new product chapter

We've also introduced a new professional product range, offering competitive pricing without compromising on the professional standards and quality we believe in.

We know how important it is to offer products that deliver great results while also giving our clients excellent value.

We're excited about this next chapter and what it brings to Envy.

We have a great range of ‘minis’ starting at £5 each , the perfect Chritsmas gift idea.

Love was in the air at Envy! 💍

A very special celebration this year was the wedding of our senior stylist Alli to her lovely partner Jerry at the beautiful Knightor Vineyard.

It was such a wonderful occasion, and we're delighted to celebrate this special milestone with them. We wish Alli and Jerry a lifetime of love, happiness and adventures together.

From all of us at Envy, congratulations to you both! ❤️

Old friends, special memories and new celebrations ❤️

One of the lovely highlights of this year has been a special reconnection with Roger, our former boss and the man who trained Tracy Gunningham, Tracey Ann and Alli.

After all these years, it's been wonderful to reconnect, share memories and enjoy several brilliant get-togethers.

There have been some fantastic catch-ups, plenty of reminiscing and even birthday celebrations shared along the way!

It's lovely to see those connections from the early days of our careers still going strong. Roger played an important part in shaping the stylists they are today, and it's been a real pleasure to bring those friendships back together.

A reminder that while our careers move forward, the people who help us along the way are never forgotten. ❤️

Giving something back – our MPS fundraiser

One of the highlights of our year has been coming together as a team to support the MPS Society.

Our Cakes & Cowboys fundraiser brought plenty of laughter, dancing, baking and some fantastic team spirit!

Thanks to our wonderful team, clients and everyone who donated, with some match funding we raised over £1,000 for this very special cause.

We're incredibly proud that we could help raise both money and awareness for families affected by rare and often hidden conditions.

Thank you to everyone who supported us. It really does mean so much.

MEET THEO ❤️ MEET THEO

Our very first Little Lad Locks!

Meet our lovely Theo, the very first of our Little Lad Locks.

We've had the absolute privilege of providing Theo with his hair system for a while now, and it has been incredibly special to see the difference it has made to him.

Seeing Theo happier, more confident and feeling more like himself is exactly why this work means so much to us.

Through our work with Little Lady Locks, we're incredibly proud to help fund hair systems for children like Theo.

Little Lady Locks is a wonderful charity dedicated not only to providing hair loss services, but also to helping children and young people rebuild their confidence, identity and emotional wellbeing.

Their services are provided completely free of charge to under-18s experiencing hair loss as a result of alopecia, cancer treatment or other medical conditions.

We feel so fortunate to be part of Theo's journey and look forward to watching his confidence continue to grow.

Here's to Theo, our first Little Lad Lock, and all the other little ones finding their confidence, one lock at a time.

With love from everyone at Envy. ❤️

A special little member of the Envy family ❤️

This year has also brought some sadness, as we said goodbye to our very special salon dog, Monty.

Monty wasn't just a dog who came to work with us; he was very much part of the Envy family. He brought so much happiness, companionship and character into the salon, and became a familiar and much-loved face to so many of our clients.

For those of you who knew him, you'll understand just how much he meant to us. His little presence around the salon is greatly missed, and we will always have some very special memories of our boy.

Forever part of the Envy family. Monty, you are missed. ❤️

And finally… THANK YOU!

As a business, we know that none of this would be possible without you.

To our loyal clients who continue to choose Envy, recommend us to friends and support us through every change – THANK YOU.

To our team, who work hard, support one another and bring their own personalities and skills into the salon every day – we're incredibly grateful.

We've had challenges, changes, exciting new beginnings and plenty of laughs along the way, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to making Envy a salon where people feel welcome, valued and beautiful!

Here's to another year of growing together, embracing new opportunities and, of course, having fabulous hair!

Much love, Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
