LETS ‘FIX’ YOUR HAIR
We are now entering our 4th week into lock down and I can tell by the amount of messages that the team are receiving, many of you are starting to get ‘twitchy’ about your hair.
Please please use this time to let your hair ‘rest and recover’ during this time. You have help prolong your colour by following the steps in this and my previous blog posts.
Last week I talked to you about IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TONE, the week before THE AMAZING POWER OF A CONDITIONING TREATMENT all to try and inform and educate you on how to get the best out of your hair in the absence of your hairdresser.
Today I thought I would check in and talk to you about, how you can prolong your colour and protect your hair condition from the sun’s harmful UVA/ UVB rays.
How amazing is it that we have had some wonderful weather this week?
Whilst we are only supposed to be venturing out an hour a day for exercise, it is amazing how much our hair colour can change in just an hour a day, so if you have a place where you can sit in the sun, you like me, will have noticed a change in your hair colour tone, this week?
TRY A LITTLE EXPERIMENT- Put a black t- shirt out in the mid day sun for an hour, every day for a week - I can tell you , undoubtedly regardless of fabric, the black will fade!
We accept that our hair colour bleaches or fades when we are on holiday but we often do not think our the sun in the UK as the same as being abroad and do not take the same precautions, like would when we are away. We will most certainly put a sun screen on to protect our skin but very often we forget our hair!
