At Envy we take our social responsibility very seriously.
We strive to achieve the very best results for our clients whilst considering environmental issues and giving back to the community.
We break this down into four key areas
We care about you and your hair.
We have a duty to work in a way that protects our customers and ourselves.
That’s why at Envy we use ammonia free colour and tinta colour, which is PPD free. Both products are proven to be kinder to the hair and scalp and have less risk of allergy. However on saying this, we are still using a chemical. So a skin test has to be carried out 48hrs prior to every application of colour. Even if you are a regular client you still have to have the patch test.
Our manufacturer has acknowledged that it is not always convenient for clients to visit the salon 48 hrs before their appointment, so they have devised a testing wipe that we can post out to you prior to your colour.
All of Envy’s hairdressers are extensively trained with Keune colour and hold current NVQ level 2 and 3 City and Guilds hairdresser’s qualifications.
At Envy we use Eco Towels, biodegradable these towels give each client hygienic personal towels. We also are not using electricity or detergents for washing the old traditional towels, making this a truly environmental friendly service.
All of our salons rubbish is collected by Devon Contract Waste we are proud to support Zero to Landfill. All of our rubbish is recycled at a special recycling plant. Endorsed by celebrities
